Worked a 7 hr day, 8-3, and am starting to feel back cramps ... unrelated to the job, though. Hmmm. I think I know what this is heralding.

Ohhh well.

finally it's the weekeeend. i kind of want to take a nap before movie night but we'll see. dinner should be ready soon.

Think I finally managed to get sunburned, as the day started out gloomy and dreary so I forgot my sunscreen. Then about an hour before lunch it cleared up and became a ~beautiful perfect day~. We'll see how my arms look tomorrow.

Worked 8.5 hrs, 8-4.30.

On an unrelated note, if I ever do have kids, I'm never having more than one. Siblings are way, way too much of a pain in the ass to deal with.

Rained today, making work less hot and exhausting and more irritating, but not so difficult. Unfortunately I managed to ruin this by injuring my knee while not even being on the job. Amazing. As such, most likely can't go to the movie tonight, as sitting with my knee bent causes some level of internal knee pain. cryyyy

Surprisingly less murderous today while working. No idea why, since we were back to burying traps ... maybe because it wasn't quite so hot and humid.

Spent entirely too much money today. First on lunch, then on manga, and then on ... erm ... a transforming Blitzwing toy.

Shut up, he's amazing.

Not looking forward to work tomorrow, mostly because I don't know what to do. will probably be calling to see if i need to do another 8 hours of hard labor or if i can move into the sweet, cooled lab. I really really hope it's the lab.

Was much too tired last night to really contemplate coming online which is the reason for my absence. Still tired now, BUT LESS TIRED. Yee.

Worked 8.5 hrs yesterday, 8-4.30.

According to Sovia I have now worked a total of ~33.5 hours, which is $335 or so. Over halfway to a 360 Elite! However I don't know precisely what's happening next week, which means I have to either call myself or sob at Sovia until she calls for me. Even if I get my hours cut down and only work about half as much as I did before, it's still quite a sum per day, and a month's worth will provide me with adequate funding.

Other than that, less homicidal rage today. Strangely enough it seems greater now than it was earlier.

Turns out I've gotten a handful (although it seems like one in particular) virus on my computer. It makes sound from ... something, commercials &c, play in the background after a short time of being on the compy. Delightful. Hopefully running antivirus scan after antivirus scan and continually hitting the DELETE option will get rid of it.

hhhh House basically cleaned, or at least returned to its normal state of messiness. Soda is stuffed under the bed, plants are watered, bedroom carpet is now visible rather than coated with junk, aaand everything else is in its proper order. As far as I can tell.

Parents come home today! Which rather surprised me, since they called me yesterday to say OH YEAH WE'RE IN MICHIGAN, HOW ABOUT THAT. Job starts tomorrow officially, although if I don't get a phone call there is much : ( to be had about it. Still going in though. Need the moneys.

terribly tired and slightly ill-feeling BUT I'M BACK

NOW TO CATCH UP WITH LIKE ... EVERYTHING.

Oh god, this is going to take forever.

So after last night's adorable little fiasco I was unable to update LJ. BUT IT IS NOW THE ... MORNING, TECHNICALLY, and all our stuff has returned, and so I can detail to you our delightful journey across Northern Ireland.

I have noticed that a number of people on my flist seem to be having a very shitty week while I am gone. This makes me unhappy and thus I shall endeavor to make my Facebook albums as lolarious as possible to bring you at least something to laugh at. Yes, the captions, they shall be glorious.

24 HRS YA'LL. Or ... something along those lines. I'll be AWAKE in 24 hours anyway.

So the wireless in this place decided that as soon as everyone but us got out of the apartment, it would DIE HORRIBLY. Thus I must make this update swift liek bunny. No cut because today was short and peaceful.

WE WENT INTO DUBLIN AGAIN! And instead of going sightseeing, we went ~shopping~ like the girly girls we are. Except I had no money so I couldn't buy anything. It wasn't terribly eventful, although while walking in the park a bird did decide the best place to evacuate its bowels was right above poor Signs. She took two showers when we got back. There was also a near-fiasco with the buses, in which my overpayiing actually saved our asses. We were on the wrong bus initially; thankfully, because the driver noticed my 2 Euro payment instead of 1.80, he asked me what fare i wanted adn where i was headed, which thus directed us off the bus and onto the proper one. HOORAY.

And then the internet died and we were sad, very sad.

So into Northern Ireland tomorrow through Sunday, and then on Monday another trek around Dublin for a while (intention to hit revolving sushi bar GET) before catching a few hours of sleep. And then we wake up at who-knows-when in the morning to catch a 9 AM plane to go home.

AIGHT I'M BACK FROM THE MAGICAL TRIP ACROSS IRELAND. And I'm not dead. But now I have three days to basically go back over, so this is going to take a while. Kudos if you read all of this. I imagine it will start out strong and then peter off into my typical flat-on-the-face style of fading energy.

Okay so that took a while. Anyway, it is now the end of Thursday. Our flight leaves early in the morning on Tuesday, and we get back ... er. Fairly early in the morning on Tuesday, as well. I WILL BE SEEING ALL OF YOU RELATIVELY SOON. Wish me luck - this weekend we go to Northern Ireland. Hopefully there will be no more bad news out of Belfast like there has been over the past day or two. SO YEAH. MORE UPDATES TOMORROW. IRELAND DAY 2: HOLY SHIT

( I failed to mention that yesterday I fell nearly on my damn face twice in about an hour. )

Not as interesting as yesterday, but tomorrow, my mother has rented a car and will be driving the three of us out across to the Western reaches of Ireland. We'll be gone for two nights, so I won't be updating until Thursday at the earliest. However, one fact remains.

My mother will be driving.

In Ireland.

I am going to die.

(maybe not because she survived England/Scotland/Wales all right BUT STILL.)

Also the weather was highly schizophrenic today, and it went between rainy and sunny (or both) at the drop of a hat. Went in one building while sunny, came out while rainy. Very mind-boggling.

Also also it is approaching 11.30 at night and has only just become dark. WHAT.

IRELAND!!!

Much to my surprise, it hasn't rained very much at all, and has in fact been almost frighteningly perfect out. Sunny. Slightly windy. No humidity.

( I have not yet enjoyed beer but I imagine it won't be much longer. )

IN CONCLUSION: I am not dead and have eaten many delicious foods. I miss you all very much and, while I will be enjoying myself, am looking forward to returning home so that I can spend delightful hours talking online.

PS. still have not found too many hot guys with cute accents, although the accents themselves are faboo.
